In this photo I am in my early 80?
What, you don't trust me? Some how I can understand you. Because it's the bird makes me much younger. But look, I was born in the middle of winter, many years worked in Siberia. And strong frost so well preserved and rejuvenated myself! That's why I have a lot of plans for another 80 years. But let's back to the past of my 80 years.I lived already many lives. I was a soldier - it's an obligation to serve in army in Russia. After graduation from institute I worked as a teacher in a small village at the middle of the widest Russian forest. And always - in school, institute, in army - I wrote articles for newspapers. And became a professional journalist. As a reporter I worked 20 years in the world biggest newspaper in the Moscow - with the circulation 22 million daily. I have been everywhere in Russia- East, West, South and North, even on North Pole. Together with articles for newspapers I wrote the scenarios for movies - over ten documentary films been made after them.
But once I decided to see the whole world. I built the replicas of packet-boats, the same type Vitus Bering use to discovered Alaska in 1741. 250 years later my expedition been first, which on the same wooden packet-boats crossed North Pacific - sailors name this ocean also "Liquid Himalayas" for huge and cold waves. And we are with my treasure-wife Irene sailing since 1991. We already made more miles, than length of equator! On my way I am writing the books about our incredible adventures. Four are ready, two more coming. I am very curious, would like to see, to know and to do everything. I have only a few billions ideas. For example, I have over 70 inventions, we spent with Irene in Washington D.C. in US Patent Office over month and made a patent search for my all-kind inventions. Very few my ideas been patented earlier, but tens and tens of them are ready to improve people's life. I just have no funds to go thru expensive patent process. Or I have also many architectural ideas. Together with Irene we draws over 50 pictures of very unusual building, monuments, restaurants, private houses etc. (If you want to build something super - send me e-mail!) We have many letters with the good words of our projects from first man on Moon Neil Armstrong, first American astronaut John Glenn, governor of Texas G.Bush - later became a president, from many senators and congressmen, majors - one of them major of Toronto etc. But politicians much easier spend trillions for wars, than thousands for art.
Unfortunately, my wooden friend "Saint Paul" does not rejuvenate. And together with my younger brother Alexander I start to build a new boat. She will be much stronger and longer, wider and higher. And design of ship is totally, super unusual, will be no vessel similar around the world. On new boat would be up to 10 cabins - we will have a lot of rooms for friends and passengers. Aboard would be a big sailor's lounge with art-gallery and art-studio, fitness room and sauna, kitchen with fridge, TV, shower and wash-room in each cabin, big sails and two engines plus generators for electricity. I love diving and we will have compressor to fill scuba-tanks. Also will be a small boat to go around for fishing. Now we need a lot of money for construction - would you like to rent today a bed or even cabin for your future vacations in my future floating home? It's much cheaper to rent now!
Come on, guys, send me reservations (on top of checks) and in 2-3 years in far overseas we will raise the sails together!
